Our A-frame cabin at Innsbrook Resort is a wonderful retreat for writing, reading, and relaxing. In the summer, it feels like a treehouse. In the winter, we have a view of Lake Wanderfern. We bought the cabin in September of 2003 and we're still finding new ways to enjoy it. Most weekends, we are here from Friday afternoon until Monday morning. Sunday night is particularly quiet since most people have gone home by then.

Besides the writing, reading, and relaxing mentioned above, here are some other activities we've enjoyed:

• walking on the gravel roads
• walking on the hiking trails
• sailing or boating or canoeing
• grilling kabobs, chicken, fish, or eggplant
• gazing at planets and stars
• identifying plants
• watching sunlight or moonlight sparkle on the lakes
• visiting with family and friends
