The Innsbrook maintenance crew set up a siphon last week to lower the level of Trinity Lake. When the lake has been partially drained, they will dredge the shallow inlets and coves. We spoke to a maintenance man on Monday who told us that a siphon is preferable to a pump because a pump must be monitored. At Innsbrook, a pump can only run during the eight hours of the day when someone is available to watch it. The siphon can run twenty-four hours a day. |
