Our cabin didn't have a house number when we bought it. Instead, there was a structure with two posts and two cross bars that must have once held a very large sign--presumably with the lot number and a name for the cabin or the family who owned it. This weekend, we removed that structure and took a low-key, natural approach to identifying our cabin.
